Stage Style
Deepika’s Screen Awards performance saw her in three different lehengas with two of them being white.
One of the white lehengas featuring mirror work was an Arpita Mehta but that wasn’t the only Mehta she donned. She also wore another mirror work choli by the designer but paired the coral top with a lehenga from Mayyur Girrotra. The mirrorwork on it though was done by Arpita.
Her other white lehenga, an Anita Dongre, featured a white and nude choli with sheer full-sleeves. Of all her stage looks, got a favorite?

Love both the white outfits, but like the overall look and styling of the Anita Dongre.
Thank God Deepika opted for normal outfits. Most of the stage outfits are so horrifically tacky (and I don’t even understand why) but I’ve noticed that Deepika, at least in a few performances in the last year or so, tends to avoid that route (e.g., thank god she didn’t wear some kind of bodysuit with a sheer midriff). However, this is the first time I’ve actually liked her outfits, in the sense that they can hold their own offstage, as well.
i agree… These outfits are so sober compared to most actors wear onstage. Love the coral outfit
Lehenga’s I like none but I like the styling in pic 1:)
Maybe it’s the unfortunate timing of the shots, but she doesn’t look graceful in any of the pictures… No ada in her dancing.
She looks manly in these delicate lehengas for some reason. Anyway, I like the white one.
I wish the tops were longer and the lehenga started a little lower. I think that would have looked more feminine on her athletic figure.
But she looks great otherwise.
I think the lehanga is not kept low just because of the fact that she has to dance in it…to avoid tripin
+1
Atleast the blouse/choli should have been little longer to make her look more feminine than athletic (though nothing wrong in that :-) ).
i am looking at her well toned arms nothing else. :)
Love the first look. Queen Dee continues to rule.
Love those 2
Agree totally that this stage style is much classier than what we usually see!
