The Bachchans made an appearance at their upcoming movie’s (Raavan) music release/launch lookin’ good. Abhishek looked dapper in a suit and Aishwarya looked quite lovely in a white and red sari.

Yes, agree. She has way too much make-up on, and see-through sarees are generally a turn-off, for me at least. And Abhishek should’ve gone without the surma.

Adorable! Beautifull couple looking FAB. Sabya sari with red looks WOW. Love the blouse and shoe colour. Ash looks gorgeous with those bangles and jumkas.
On an aside – Sabya should use other colour combinations like this and not always the dark, busy patterns which are so dul and unwearablel.
Aishwariya looks great except those green bangles. Not only does it not match, I don’t understand why she needed THAT many bangles on just one wrist.

Well I don’t like nets so the saree is just ok for me and not sure if it’s the lighting but her concealer seems little too much in some pics. However Ash looks fab and happy and love them together!

Honestly that blouse looks like she’s wearing a sports bra. Something about the blouse is off with it’s design. The sari is nothing special but nothing cringe worthy either.

i love the fact that the velvet border is on the inside ofthe sari and peaking out here and there while pulling in with blouse. too much velvet on sari sometimes can be terribly tacky. now if only ash could give out a genuine smile.

My only problem with the saree is, it is so transparent; a little thicker fabric would add a lot more grace! She looks gorgeous as always, like a newly wed Bengali bride (well almost).

mmm for me the sari is just ok.yeah, her hair is a bit boring. on the other hand abhi is a real challenge…i can’t even concentrate on the clothes. for starters that hair is awful. shud straighten it and do a side part…then shaping the eyebrows would be his best bet. and some sort of metro goatee and sideburns. yeah…if you’re gonna pencil something let it be the eyebrows.

This blouse is MUCH better than those fugly brassierre types designed by Neeta Lulla that Ash famously wore a while back. I love Sabyasachi Sarees and this one is no less beautiful. Simple and elegant. I hope to one day own lots and lots of Sabyasachi Sarees but of course i’ll have to shed a lot of pounds too which I will by that time :)

i thought that if she parted her hair in the middle and taking into consideration that she is a married woman, wouldnt it have been appropriate to wear SINDOOR!?
south indian women generally do not wear sindoor in their part, possible explanation to your question.
You know, women in India don’t fit into one mold. Each state and region has it’s own custom. Women in the Southern region of India do not ever wear sindoor in the middle parting of the hair – it’s probably a North thing. The married status is signaled by the mangalsutra chain and quite often a red bindi on their forehead. If you see some sort of red sindoor like mark on their hair parting, it could be that they’ve just been to the temple or witnessed a puja. You don’t have to be married to do that.
The sindoor and the kangan thing are, I think, all Northern customs.
with a face like that, how can someone ever not look gorgeous! and in a red and white sari too! abhishek though should’ve skipped the kohl. its ok in a movie, but not ok outside. bollywood is taking movie promotions too seriously!

The girls went crazy over Arshad Warsi’s kajal look in Ishqiya. There is a reason why it was traditionally used by men as well.
Like the saree on her, although I do hate the net pallu trend. You need tight tight abs to pull that off. She needs to change her hairstyle..that straight hair look is just too severe for a feminine article of clothing like a saree.

The Sabya saree is a let down. Ash as lovely as she is has really caked on the makeup. She seems extremely happy here. I wish she wore the cotton saree that wears in the movie. Those look intresting.Her stills from the movie with minal makeup are stunning Abhishekh well the suit is fine and I hope the makeup is in character.
