LFW Winter/Festive 2010: Shrivannarresh

Shrivan Narresh’s collection almost had a sense of no-nonsense-I-mean-business sort of femininity. While the clothes seemed futuristic, the styling seemed retro (Hello turban/headgear!) and, while the exaggerated architectural elements screamed Jetsons, the swimsuits had one longing for the Riviera.

We quite like this designer duo and found their collection to be a great mix of ready-to-wear pieces and those perfect for Editorial shoots.

In Manish Arora, ShrivanNarresh And Varun Bahl

Spotted on Ira, a Manish Arora Spring 2010 dress. A pity we don’t have a better picture, would’ve loved to see her wear the dress in all it’s glory. (Catch her in Manish Arora Fall 08 here!)

You can read the article here.

P.S: More pictures of Ira’s from Aisha promotions inside.

In ShrivanNarresh

We loved Shrivan and Narresh‘s collection and can’t quite blame Pratima for wanting to wear that outfit out (who wouldn’t? the colors are fabulous!) but let’s face it, somethings are better left alone for the sandy beaches. Like brightly colored umbrella drinks and sarongs.

Seeing Pratima hold on to her dress in an attempt to avoid peek-a-boo moments in all of her pictures had us thinking… it must not have made for a very comfortable evening. :p

That aside (and the mis-matched clutch), she does look lovely.
