I love this Satya Paul sari but the problem is that blouse takes all the attention away from it. I wish Ms. Fernandez had worn a simple blouse and let the sari be the focus. What say you?

On Dec 9th, Bottega Veneta hosted a cocktail bash to launch the “The Knot: A Retrospective” exhibition that also previewed the limited edition Knot India. In attendance where many sporting their Knot clutches including Ms. Fernandez, who wore a Just Cavalli dress with Jimmy Choo Verity sandals and a purple knot clutch. I know I am in the minority because I still haven’t been able to like these sandals yet. Love the dress and the clutch combo though.

It’s a color that not many can pull off, especially not with that blouse, but somehow Ms. Fernandez makes it work so well. I, for one, loved it on her. What about you?

Two back to back appearances saw Ms. Fernandez in grey outfits and both times her looks were a ‘Not Quite’ for us. Albeit, her casual outfit was quite out of place amongst all those who dressed up, it was the white innerwear underneath the black tank that was the deal-breaker at the ‘Paa’ premiere. She wore the same white innerwear under her grey Karen Millen (see inside) satin dress and while we can give the barely-there appearance a pass, we’d have much preferred black under that grey. At least that would have made the peekaboo a sexy one! :P

For it’s year-end issue, Grazia had Jacqueline on it’s cover in a Valentino gown, grey Valentino suede heels and a Dior box clutch.
‘Yellow-and-grey’ is one of our favorite combinations and we love how the yellow (along with grey) stands out against the blue background. Having said that though, we’ve seen far more impactful covers from Grazia before and this doesn’t seem like quite the loudest bang to end the year on. If we were to separate the colors (which we love) from the picture itself, Jacqueline seems rather lost in the overwhelming colors and layout. Agree?
