A Birkin, is a Birkin, whats not to love?

But, and there is always a but, I just think that Katie’s Birkin is a bit too big! I mean really, it does take the ‘over-sized bag’ thing a bit too far! It is obscene! Shweta’s on the other hand, is “just right”!! I know, I feel like Goldilocks too when I say that, but really!

Spotted Tarina Patel (of Dus Kahaniyan’s ‘Sex On The Beach’ fame) at the My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves Premiere carrying the Marc Jacobs Quilted Classic Stam Bag! While I don’t particularly care for either her dress or her boots, she gets props for atleast carrying a bag that is not same ol’, same ol’ Gucci or Louis Vuitton!

The Stam and has long been a favorite of A-listers, and Marc Jacobs being the celebrity darling and design wonder-kid ensures that the Stam stays around in one form or another, the latest version (The Kid Quilted Patent Bag) being seen on Hilary Duff as recent as a few days ago!

Shweta Bachchan Nanda sure gives Madhoo a run for her money..or.. should we say Birkin. Her red birkin and casual style are such a far cry from the poorly dressed Madhoo and her tan Birkin.

Just proves a basic fact, no matter how much money you’ve got.. you just can’t buy style!

Clutch Spotting

We love an outfit that is put together where the bag/clutch complements the outfit. That was so not the case though when Kangana wore this ensemble to the Zee Music party. In an effort to mimic the white on black of the Fendi Crossword clutch, Kangana just totally missed the mark and came off looking clownish than stylish.

Personally, if she had just worn opaque tights underneath the strapless dress than black denims, it would have made a world of a difference!
