It was a gold-tone Anita Dongre dress for Athiya at the recently held event. Wearing her hair down in soft waves, the actor finished out the look with big earrings, an orange-toned lip color and a pair of matching jootis.

There’s a lot this statuesque actor can pull off with ease but this look isn’t one of them. It was too much gold and in a shade that didn’t do much for the actor. Between the color, the embellished bodice and the hair, the look also felt disproportionately top heavy. This appearance was a rare miss!

For the latest round of movie promotions, Athiya picked Carven. A pair of metallic sneakers is all that it took to finish out the look. She looked good!

Athiya and Sooraj visited a nightclub in Delhi last week for promotions of Hero where the former was spotted in a white Ridhi Mehra jumpsuit, one that we had said we’d be having a sighting of soon.

Now, we rarely saw Athiya in a ponytail during her promotional appearances and while part of me wishes she’d sported one here, the other part of me didn’t mind that she wore it down. The middle-parted hair worked with the flow of the sleeves.

Athiya and Sooraj visited Whistling Woods Academy on Saturday where the young actor was seen doing print on print in Verandah separates. Hair in a side parted wavy do, her look was finished out with a skinny rope belt and thong sandals.

Athiya, who has been spotted in fresh off the LFW runway looks almost everyday, gave us another such one at the screening of Hero. While she looked good in the geometric paneled suit, I really disliked the sandals here. And now, that I’ve seen the runway look, dislike them even more. For someone who has access to so many runway looks, wish she would up the shoe-game a bit.

I also wish the blue panels were made of a non-shiny material but that wasn’t a deal breaker. In real life, it probably didn’t look as bad as it does under the camera flashes.
