I feel like I’ve seen the clothes a zillion times already on Western runways the past few years. They’ve just swapped the symmetrical digital prints so ubiquitous in every collection nowadays, for embroidery, but that’s about it. Looks like deja vu down to the styling.
I was sitting at Smoke house at the fashion week when a fashion editor from a famous fash-mag appeared wearing a horrible neon pink dress (by Pankaj Nidhi). She almost blurted out how much she disliked the dress, yet she went around about waxing eloquently about their collection. This industry is fickle, real talent never gets spoken about and every body believes in ‘you scratch my back n i will scratch yours’
Interesting. Embroidery overkill.
Amazing collection….interesting use of embroidery and style….
love it. if i were deepika or anushka, i would be dying to try some of these on.

Exactly. Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto etc’s poor little cousin. Without an identity like the originals.
Thought I’d throw Etro into the mix too since, after Mary Katrantzou, that’s what came to mind.
Hmm… looks like a rehash (bad one at that) of Falguni/Peacock print and design aesthetic…
