Who Wore It Better?

Both, Padma and Gwyneth were spotted wearing the same Lanvin dress within days of each other. Who wore it better?

Padma’s “pom-pom” footwear totally killed it for me..!

  1. Gwyneth has been glowing in all her pictures lately. The dress on Padma looks very dull. I am loving Gwyneth’s gladiator heels…yummy…

  2. Padma’s pose (?), bag and, yes, the shoes totally ruin it for her. Gwyneth could have added the belt like in the collection but then she manages to carry it off nonetheless.

  3. Question for everyone..after their stylists pick up dresses for the celebreties do they dress them up also for events??…cause the dress on Padma looks like it has not been properly draped or something..while Gwyneth’s is prim and proper.

  4. Mleh….gwen in white is WAY too ‘costumey’ for me….plus with the gladiator sandals. I love the yellow on Padma, but yes, like Priti said, it couldve done with last minute prep.

  5. I like the yellow on Padma more but yes, it does look a lil messy. Paltrow’s give too much hint to the attire the Roman council of elders used to wear.

  6. i like gwyneths better although i wish she wouldve chosen a nice belt with the dress to break the monotony and old warrior type look. padma’s footwear is yuckkk

  7. i think Padma doesnt look fresh. know what i mean? she looks tired, that shade doesnt do anything for her, her hair isnt right and her face looks oily.

    that ruins the entire look.

  8. Gwyneth, without a doubt. Even with a belt, it looks like an ill-draped sack on Padma. Whereas on GP it falls so gracefully. And I totally love the shock of her shoes.

IDK who Padma is, but she is stunning.

  11. I prefer Padma’s look. I like Gwyneth’s dress and shoes too, but somehow they don’t work well together for me. The gladiator heels would have looked better with something shorter.

  12. i think the dress suits them both. i love the way the yellow complements padma’s skin and makes it look more warm and glowing. gwyneth is always spot on with her fashion sense. i don’t like either of the girls’ footwear.

  13. Rashmi,
What Katie wore was the shimmery version of the same style which was also on the runway..Gwyneth and Padma’s is a plain version..

I did not like the yellow and black thing Padma has going with her belt and her shoes…

  16. priti, i think it’s her belt that killed it- why padma?

malini- i wouldnt say she’s ugly, padma is a very striking woman- quintessential indian beauty at it’s finest.

  17. Dear Anonymous

We never post any Hollywood posts unless there is some Desi angle or related relevance to it and we certainly never plagiarize and if we happen to pick our story from elsewhere, rest assured, its always ‘sourced’.

There is no dearth of sites covering Hollywood fashion and style, and many times same story floats around a bit, especially if its a glaring easy one waiting to be posted about, and when that happens Dear Anonymous, there is a mad race to get it out there first. And at this time, let me take a moment to assure you, we are capable of connecting dots too and coming to conclusions…on our own!

We take allegations like this seriously, please don’t throw them around for petty drama.

  18. Hey No Name, despite your comment being deleted I would like to thank you for taking the time to comment to the fact that I was the one who found this comparison.

That was a very honourable thing you did on my behalf and I am very grateful.
