In MapxencaRS
Vishakha Singh walked the red carpet on day two of Cannes wearing a MapxencaRS modified sari. You’ll remember seeing a similar version of it on Aaksha Goradia at the International Emmy Awards last year (here).
Am still not a fan of that structured striped peplum detail but keeping the hair sleek and simple helped. Vishakha looked nice.
On an aside, am a wee bit disappointed that the designers didn’t give out something different to Vishakha.

mmm Chinese takeaway on my mind for dinner now… That peplum looks like a shiitake mushroom.
haha…you read my mind…She looks pleasant overall though…
It would have been better without the mushroom.
Exactly – I was like there’s a mushroom growing out of her :-) . Plus she has an awkward stance – like she’s uncomfortable or not confident.
I liked Aashka’s version a lot better.
+1
While i am not a fan of these wierd silhouettes, i must say Vishaka looks very pretty. Love her dusky skin and the simple hair. She looks like a mix of Prachi Desai and Anuskha Sharma to me.
This saree would have looked really good without the peplum part..or should I say mushroom part!!!
Aashka’s version was better than this one.
The hair is a downer, so is the blouse.
And I think a confident pose would have worked wonders here.
As lovely as she looks, Aashka’s outfit was much better.
She looks pleasant but not something Cannes worthy.
Reminds me sonam at cannes in the Jean Paul Gaultier ….http://www.highheelconfidential.com/sonam-kapoor-in-gaultier-couture-at-64th-annual-cannes-film-festival-the-artist-premiere/
Sometimes creations seen on runaways just don’t look as good off runaways. She’s cute though.
She ws walking into cannes…y did she do that nyhw the sari is gud but not the mushroom growing, also i think her hairshoud have some elegent or messy updo
