At a diwali party last evening, Vidya was photographed in a sari by Pinnacle. Amrapali jewelry and a potli from Boga were her accessories for the evening.
Usual notes still stand- Wish she’d try a blouse without a scoop-neck. And skip the severe do. But that aside, love the color on her; she looked nice.

She always looks stuffed even in a sari. Those tight blouses and the stiff uncomfortable stance is the usual.
Maybe her body language IS that way ! Maybe it’s coz of a wrong photo angle ! Maybe its just that she is REALLY uncomfortable wearing that saree/blouse!
Negativity towards her could be toned down. I am not a fan of her in general, but I did think she was amazing in a few movies. I am also glad that she mostly wears sarees and not some ridiculous outfit.
Hey P&P why do you have to ALWAYS point out your dislike for her blouse; while for most others you don’t go beyond “she did good” or “she wore her look well” ?
She need to change her designer. Sorry Vidya. Bored of looking you in these same sarees and those blouses.. I agree she is comfortable. something in saree with a different blouse will be nice to see her for a change.

She’s tried experimenting earlier in her career & that went terribly for her. So if she now decides to just stick with what she knows, then more power to her!!
She’s an actress not a fashionista..would be different if she claimed to be.
I love this woman. I love her face, her expressions, her smile and most importantly her acting. If we talk about her sartorial choice- I absolutely love her sarees. But as a genuine fan, all I want to know is why does she like to look ten years older than herself? Cannot she just let her natural, wavy hair open and wear a simple, not too snuggy blouse with such gorgeous sarees and let her confident exude?

Vidya, I love you and I love that you are a champion of saris. But please stop stuffing yourself into these tight cholis and explore some other styles.

Sigh! The saree is beautiful and so is the person wearing it but unfortunately I find no personality in the styling of this outfit.
I think she’s found her comfort zone in sarees, but do wish she’d try some other hairstyles which don’t age her so terribly. Given her short stature and body structure, she needs a blouse that is scoop/ round necked , so apart from changing the sleeve style, don’t think there’s much she can do
