In Dhruv Singh

Wearing Dhruv Singh, Vidya promoted her upcoming movie on the sets of a television show. With her hair in a soft, wispy updo, the actor finished out the look with a small bindi, tan wedges and silver jewelry from EDesigns and Amrapali.

The volume took over, and Vidya seemed rather overwhelmed in most images. But boy did she look lovely neck-up; there’s no faulting that.

  2. It’s too tight at the bust, agree with Prachi. If one’s not very slim, wearing high necks is not a great idea. I am only saying it’s better to dress in a way that’s flattering to one’s body type rather than accentuating the negatives – not body shaming or glorifying any one body type.
A dupattah on the side may have elevated this look. Neck up she looks adorable – hairstyle, makeup, bindi and that smile – 100/10!

  3. Her face is #bae. :P

But seriously, she has started to look so adorable & sweet of-late. That colour is gorgeous on her. Those pants do stump her height but they aren’t a deal-breaker either. Love the jewellery!

  4. She said on NDTV that for a while she didnt even want to step out for fear of being judged. Not saying people did it on this site, but it is a fact that she was bullied for her weight, wardrobe, etc. Maybe it would be kind to not feature her here and let her be?

    • I wonder ignoring someone who’s obviously trying would be as bad as the constant criticism? Especially for someone who’s in the limelight and is obviously making sartorial choices? I don’t know.
