For promotions of Tumhari Sulu, it’s been saris only for Ms. Balan and while some of them have felt very similar, some of her looks have been quite different.
The Payal Singhal and Raw Mango look stood out quite a bit for us. Did you have a favorite?

She is a good looking woman and looks nice in all the pics. But, she looks like a saree showroom mannequin in the second and third row pics.
The light blue Payal Singhal saree with the long jacket like top and the style, is a good one for her. She looks comfortable, less bulky and generally an elongated look. She can experiment with such looks some more. She can take advantage of the long jacket trend and find a new comfort zone.
So basically she should cover up? :/
She has a face that can launch a thousand ships, proverbially! Agree, she looks great in Raw Mango and Payal Singhal. The faux bob makes for a welcome change. The cut of the blouse and Payal Singhal saree drape makes her look less boxy and super comfortable. The hair, makeup and jewellery are minimalistic! She should try new styles with her sarees.
The faux bob does indeed make for a welcome change. Saw her interview in that look and she looked extremely gorgeous.
What a difference a change in blouse pattern or drape can make! She is a beautiful woman, and her baby steps into experimentation are definitely working for her.
Wow how lovely does she look in Raw Mango. Major love for the hairstyle, so glad she dared to change it for once. The yellow look also stood out for me. That bindi suits her face.
She’s a beautiful woman with curves that a saree loves. That’s why the more drape-y sarees — softer fabrics, rather than her fave Kanjeevarams — are a good idea for her. Also, what DF said about the Payal Singhal look — good observation. She’d also look great in sarees worn with trench coats — maybe if she’s headed to Delhi in the winter!
Am glad her stylist is helping her push the boundaries of her comfort zone and not making her wear saree-dress/pants in the name of experimentation. These are people in sync with each other.
So contrary to popular belief, vidya balan CAN pull off off-beat looks such as the Payal singhal. She should really experiment more often in the sari genre. I really like the faux bob in the raw mango too. (Would like admit that I was wrong in saying that there’s no point featuring vidya balan coz she has a style uniform)
Agree with ^^^ about the mannequin pose!! as well as the overall demeanour of being so conscious of her body! compared to someone like Neha Dhupia who carries off everything with so much confidence – vidya looks almost comical with her awkward stance , sucking-breath-in-posture with one arm almost glued to her side.

Vidya looks lovely in all the sarees. However she didn’t accessorize well; she could/should have forgone the earrings and added bangles or necklaces instead.
I think she’s looking beautiful in all the different saris. All the colours are lovely.
Her style has become so boring !!
I wish she cud change it up may b by wearing a long maxi dress … simple Kurta pajamas … may be a high bun … a braid …. change of makeup

Correct.Ethnic maxis with top knot will suit her! As of now, all the pictures look same to me!
