Sari Style

It was back to back sari appearances for Ms. Balan, first in a silver and purple Gaurang one and then in a yellow Ritu Kumar. The Gaurang look had her in a hairdo different from one that we normally see her in but can’t say I loved it. The middle-parted style felt very dated.

Much preferred her in the yellow look.

These look like regular sarees. I guess the border is an add on in the yellow saree, but the purple saree looks like a regular kanjeevaram one can get at Nallis…

I do like her necklace and jhumkas in the yellow saree look.

  1. Styling is bad on both, a bindi and different lipstick on the yellow one and a plaited hair with different earrings on the grey one would have been good

  2. Her silk saree pics are very average. She needs to attend a wedding in say chennai for a crash course on the perfect kanchivaram to pic

  3. I dont know why shed want to look like a mami everytime. The look styling the saree (esp the silver & purple one) screams of auntyji types.

  4. What is wrong with her? She’s such a beautiful woman, why does she style her looks so?! This look is at least a decade too late!

  5. A regular perfect south Indian aunty she is with her looks. And these Gaurang sarees don’t need a designer saree title. They all look like regular south Indian Kanjeevaram sarees sold at Nallis,Chennai silks and any other regular saree outlets.Thumbsdown.
