In Mint Blush

At two events recently for Kahaani 2 promotions, Vidya sported Mint Blush separates with jewellery from Amrapali that included statement necklaces. Unfortunately, between the two, I only found myself liking the orange look.
The longer necklace while lust worthy seemed the wrong pick for the short kurta and the dhoti pants. I can totally picture it with an all white long kurta sharara look though! (Oh hell, now I want the necklace and the outfit just to be able to wear it myself. :P)

She looks so sweet in that orange attire. Everything is on point! The blue accent via neck-piece is gelling beautifully with the orange clothing. I like look 2 as well. Okay, it is certainly not as lovely as look 1 but she looks good. Is she wearing kolhapuri wedges there? I think long kurta sharara look would have made it same ol’, same ol’ (similar to look 1). I believe, lesser big hair in look 2 & it would have been perfect!
Love the orange one. I think the blue outfit would have looked better if the neckpiece was different.
These statement necklaces are getting out of control now.
What is the statement they make? I was made in a waste-to-art workshop by designers on Elvis? Or I was made from repurposed nazar suraksha kavachs.
