Vaani picked her second Nikhil Thampi of the Awards season and you won’t hear us complain. Ms. Kapoor worked her cutout Nikhil Thampi gown on the Filmfare red carpet. An updo and Louboutin sandals completed her look. And, Manish Arora for Amrapali earrings and a stack of cuffs/bangles from Curio Cottage added finishing touches. She looked good!

makeup, hair & gown are perfect. posing is weird and that is one LARGE stack. didn’t she feel uncomfortable with all those things on her hand?
Though she is looking good but there is something in this look which i m not liking…she is looking awkward in last pic ..her hairstyle is making her face look lengthy ( exact word for this is not coming to me at this moment :P)..may be because of a bit too much skin show or the hair..something is making this one as “not quite” for me

Are those fake bangs? They look really out of place. Otherwise, she looks great.

She’s got the body for this kind of outfit. And given her past appearances she’s out to prove it. Just that her face sometimes look really angular and I think this hairstyle makes it more pronounced.

+100. I agree something is just not right. I dont like the 1 shoulder, the cut out and the slit. Its too much or perhaps its not balanced (all on 1 side).

loved it! she looked fab and worked it super well.. the only thing was she ended her speech in a pretty brisque unexpected manner / did she just phase out – or it seemed so which is any way a very minor note. Kudos for her win.

1. how else can one work the slit if not posing with the leg out, in address to the angelina pose.
2. the stack of bangles is so innovative, makes the look so much more fierce.
3. i agree hair and make up could have been better, a sleek ponytail would have worked better
4. over all i think both nikhil and vaani are a pair made for each other, that guy is soooooo creative and this girl is talented.
5. i read somewhere NIKHIL himself styled both her looks, sooo original and its only human to make some mistakes.
