Verve’s Bridal issue had Parineeti Chopra on the cover in a sari by Verb, Anand Kabra choli and Sabyasachi lehenga and to no surprise of ours, token Louis Vuitton something/anything by way of a minaudiere. Looking back at Verve’s previous Bridal issues, the magazine and the brand sure have struck a happy marriage! (See what I did there? :p)
P.S: Just us or anyone else think Parineeti looks like a younger, tanned version of Vidya Balan on the cover?

At first glance I thought it was Vidya Balan..love the lehanaga and the jewellary
Love the lehenga, but disappointed with the scalloped edging on the dupatta…minus points for that
Personally, I love the look! The top part of it is way better than the lehenga though. I wish we could see more of the “choli” though.

The LV bags look so strange on these covers! Not the most flattering pose for the mini miss pc… Other than the fact that she has a girl next door appeal, has that natural look, looks indian and isn’t a model/half german/icelandic/etc I don’t think that she at all resembles Vidya. She is her own person and it must be harsh for actresses who have been around for a few years to hear that so and so is a “younger” version! Vidya isn’t exactly a senior citizen.
I don’t like the styling but I love her fierce eye contact.
hey bud, 10 years gap between them both. vidya has or has not been around for a few years..she is still 10 years older than the girl. “younger” version is totally acceptable here.

So true.Let’s not make Vidya a ‘senior’ actress now. Since none of the younger ones have an oomph like her, let’s leave them to pouting and leaning against sofas for a magazine cover.

the LV is appropriate here because the LV brand has a long association with India. In particular, the royal families have always used their luggage for centuries.

what is it with indian mags advertising for lv luggage??? i don’t get it. verve does seem to be in a rut. she is a pretty girl and she looks pretty here, but its not a great photoshoot or anything. deepika looks good.

The LV bags do look a bit showy and unnecessary. I personally think we need more bling when it comes to accessorizing with Indian!
