I think these people spend so much on their clothes, accessories, etc there is no money left whatsoever to invest in a mirror.

i like the concept (i’m a total sucker for asymmetric dresses!) but the fabric somehow looks cheap and too shiny. and i agree with ish, a shorter version would have looked better!
i think we all agree the top is amazing..very greek goddessesque and then the bottom is such a let down. also if you notice on the model the drapes start a few inches above the knee but on udita they start on the knee, which makes her look wide. If the draping was cut down, and lifted up the dress wouldn’t like it was eating her. Also isn’t this a very interesting play on a sari..it’s like greek meets indian
The Grecian look suits Deepika more than anyone else. Something looks a bit off here.

i once went to a toga party where i draped a bedsheet and came out looking just like this!! but all jokes aside, i like this gown but for the shiny fabric. for me its udita who makes it work with the makeup, minimal jewelry, black nail polish and her footwear. moreover its unfair to compare all one shouldered gowns to marchesa. just saying.
Hey it seems to be a consensus on the top half being pretty good (see pic 3 )and minimal accessories+makeup really complemented it.
