In Sonam Parmar

Comment image 10

At the audio launch of Aranmanai 2, Trish was seen in gold Sonam Parmar separates and Studio V7 earrings. Unfortunately, between the bow top and the pleats, the outfit just felt very busy. The separates in any other color may have downplayed the previous issues but with all that gold and the stark pink contrast, everything just got even more amplified.

Let’s just say, we weren’t fans.

    • I totally thought you would come up with something to compliment her face and resist commenting on her outfit!! But yeah, she does look pretty! As for the outfit, I would just echo P&P and say ‘not a fan ‘!

      • Agree with Sylviana and Colormenot.

I will give an unbiased opinion. Trisha is my only favourite South actress since she made entry. She has a pretty face and great body, but her dressing is so pathetic from past 2,3 years. I didn’t know she is such a bad dresser, as she used to dress well before. This dress is in very poor taste, her hair is lame and her makeup I feel thickly coated. Not a good going by her and her stylist in regards of her dressing, makeup and hair styles.

      • Lol. As for me, I don’t like such dresses be it this one or the kind of similar “Dubai”dress which Tapsee wore. But I think she fares better than anyone else who could have worn this dress. Like asha said, she could have pulled the skirt down to show the midriff thereby not crowding the look. I am tired of these severe middle parted hair-dos and the puffy ponytails. Also, I don’t see much of color difference between her face, hands or legs, so for me non-white washing is a big deal (though it should not be the case because I think most of us do a better makeup without looking like we dipped ourselves in a bag of flour than many B’town celebs) after looking at the celebs trying to look “fair”. In addition, maybe because I have seen most of the south Indian actors in person, I can totally tell who wears 2-3 inches of lighter foundation on their face in events, how styling can work and the use of filters making some actors look good in pictures while they look completely different in real. Many of them like Tamannah, Shruti, Hansika all look much better in person than in movies. :P

    • But she hardly changes up her hair. A ponytail would have made a world of difference to this look .. May be she wanted to hide that bow :))

      • I know. She should try pony tails, she looks good in them in movies. Am a non-pony, non-pig tail person, I feel it kind of doesn’t suit my face. Side braids are fine. :D

  1. Interesting in theory. But screwed up in concept. Maybe if she tied up her hair, got that top in a size larger, pulled down the skirt a bit (yes, to show some midriff!!), it would have looked a lot better.

  2. I think she have been dressing awfully since she started following the stylist trend,if you guys don’t believe go and check her Instagram pictures. She dresses 100 times better by herself than hiring a stylist.
