In Hensely

Wearing a Hensely pleated dress that featured side-slits, Kareena was photographed as she exited the local airport. Her choice of accessories included a Bottega Veneta tote, which if you have some cash to burn, you can score here. The actor’s off-duty look worked!

      • Shame on them. On one hand they claim to stand against cruelty towards animals, and on the other hand they use these bags n belts et al made out of animals.

      • +1000. Agreed. There needs to be compassion in fashion. Animals do not need to die to satisfy our consumerism. PnP how about a cruelty free fashion post every now and then?

        • P&P are insensitive towards animals used in fashion. They never commented against it ever since the blog started. And moreover they themselves use a lot of leather bags and purses (check their videos and instagram).

        • Agreed. It is indeed a sad frickin’ reality. The most exotic I think is a special kind of croc skin if I am not wrong. But in that context even Silk saris cannot be worn. Millions of silk worms are boiled for it to make pure silk saris in Kanchipuram.
P&P use leather products. That will give way to not practising what they preach if they include such write-ups. ;)

          • I think it is wrong to blame P&P with such a personal uncalled for attack! Who doesn’t use good quality leather? For some its Louis Vuitton while for some its Hidesign and the fact remains no one really knows how much to believe, how much is true about these stories. This way we would all be wearing plastic and rexine and then be called out for being so tacky!

      • OMG!Richa! Is this really true? So all Bottega leather is animal skin? I have been a silent Bottega fan for sometime and even bought a small thing here and there but was not aware of this disgusting cruelty to animals. I assumed its only exotic leather that’s to be blamed!

        • What did you think “non-exotic’ leather is made out of? Rainbows and sunshine?
They are all made from animal hide (except for faux leather).
In fact Jane Birkin (the actress after whom the Birkin bag is named) asked Hermes to stop using her name after reports of brutalised crocodiles in Hermes’s supply chain came out.

  1. So much dislike/angst towards Kareena – post her giving birth. Sad. She does look good.

P&P – what do you think about her sighting in Faraz Mannan?

  2. Hensley is the brand of Neha Kapur (the ex Miss India and Big Bang Theory dude Kunal Nayar’s wife). If you look on HHC you will see only Neha Kapur herself only ever wears her label and no one else. So I doubt KK spent $1600 for some polyester fabric herself…..more likely Neha Kapur asked her to wear it for an airport look for publicity for her label. This is common practice for designers.
