Dressed in all black, Deepika made her way out of the local airport last evening. And, her look included a Givenchy bomber jacket and Celine ‘Luggage’ tote. While it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s got to be said, Deepika made the off-duty look work for her.

This whole airport look trend in Bollywood is getting ridiculous day by day. Case in point is this look. No mortal woman will wear such tight leggings/pants to board a flight even when travelling business class. I think Bollywood needs to take lessons on how to keep it relateable.
It’s like the tights were painted on her skin. They would surely need scissors to peel them off! I like the jacket and the sweatshirt though. She just needed a different pair of tights.
I’ve worn similar looks on a flight – the leggings are actually pretty comfy with the stretch. LOVE!
That’s what I was thinking too – this looks extremely comfy and it’s pretty standard airport uniform (only I WISH i had her face )

This is NO off duty.
I don’t even want to see airport looks, just another platform to advertise designer gifts. And now that we know they probably change it as soon as they hit the airport lounge ..its just urghhh
PnP may be there should be a new filter on site to just block the airport looks.

The tights are really not bad…just the material might become too hot.
Airport is the second runway y’all… for us mortals it is merely a walk from the car to the terminal. But its catwalk for these poor folks.
Imagine before a trip, you have to sashay down the courtyard to the terminal from the car. Cannot even travel chill and relaxed. When else will they have time to show off all the brands they own/endorse?
You would think a woman that has 50 million followers on Instagram
and is the most valued celebrity in the world
and makes hundreds of billions of dollars a year wouldn’t be so needy and desperate for publicity
Exaggerated comment at every level … fact… long way to go for 50 mil followers. Definitely not the most valued celeb in The world and lord knows that all celebs crave attention no matter who famous they already are.
First, the awkward length of the hoodie makes it look like she forgot to wear her pants, and no, the black tights are not the right option for this. Also, deepika is not pulling off that jacket. Getting a strange Michael jackson vibe, waist up. Not a flattering look at all, just brand overload.
It looks claustrophobic and strangulating. I really don’t want to see such looks. Pathetic dressing.
This is one case where certain looks will be trashed in one country and loved in other. She was bound to get the criticism for doing this look while in India. Outside I would say this a pretty good look and does justice to her age too. Agree with PnP’s commentary on this.
It’s a weird look even in the west. People in india can appreciate western looks just fine if it’s actually working. The shiny tights are ugly, and don’t work with 2 different textures of the hoodie and jacket; and she’s not pulling off the jacket. It doesn’t give the same effortless and cool vibe that many young celebrities in the west give off in similar, currently trendy attires. There are just too many mismatched statements here – it’s not athleisure neither is it a dressed up look.
It’s a very Kareena Kapoorish look. The exception being that her (Kareena’s) looks (pre-2017) were a lot more on-point and comfortable.

I love how luminous her skin looks, the shade of her lipstick and that delish bomber jacket.
All the other pieces that include the boots, those leggings and the hoodie in different shades and textures of black leave me confused.
I just cannot understand this whole concept of wearing shades even in dark. Like why. That in itself takes away from the look. And also that jacket is ugly- one of those ugly windcheaters uncles wore while driving scooter 10 years back. Not liking it at all.
Gosh- the double standards on this site. THIS is trying too hard and not Kangana’s two braids with a saree and her ridiculous formal clothes with HEELS? Because that looks supremely comfortable, right? And we are going to now talk about Instagram followers and what goes on inside their heads on a fashion blog.
It’s a sad day when Pinkvilla has more balanced commentary. P&P, not even sure if your site is moderated anymore but the negativity on this site is a major turn-off.
I ADORE this look, besides the too shiny faux leather leggings. I’m actually trying to conjure up similar from my wardrobe! Very Rihanna!
