Day 3 of her appearance at TIFF saw Tisca in two different looks, one in a Geisha Designs gown and another in a pair of Urvashi Kaur dhoti pants paired and a velvet Rajesh Pratap Singh jacket.

Even though she looked nice in it, wasn’t quite feeling the gown, especially the black lining on the bust. If we hadn’t seen the runway version, we probably would’ve thought it was inner wear gone wrong.

Much prefer her in the jacket look.

  1. i gather from her tweets a lot of fans will comment on her looks, but i got to say, that green outfit was weird. and the black coat and white shalwar look is so common up and down southhall in london.

  2. Have been watching this girl on this blog for a bit and to my mind she is the right Indian ambassadress on the International Red Carpet.. confident, happy, edgy, modern Indian, good actor, fabulous wit and what a sense of fashion.. every look she has done at TIFF has been different and has pushed the envelope without trying too hard. Love the Jacket and dhoti.. Indian androgny. Fab!

  3. Wow! She looks really good. I think the gown suits her – she makes it work and looks far better in it than I would have expected her too…BUT, the dhoti look OMG – I want it

  4. Intelligent choice in clothes, this woman. Something charming, warm about her and almost everyone can imagine wearing what she wears.. nothing drastic, yet she stuns with the ease that she carries most silouhettes

  5. ‘Not feeling the gown’ P&P?.. But you are feeling Sonam’s obnoxious Anamika jacket at Cannes, with the hanging sleeves? Jayzus.. this look is fab.. that gown and its unusual color rock on this elegant woman.. she does us proud, without seeming like she’s going nuts trying to.

  6. I have seen Tisca chopra wearing urvashi kaur creations earlier as well… And each time she looks better than before. Tisca looks simply amazing in urvashi kaur’s silhouettes.
