First it was Aishwarya Rai, and now spotted Natasha Poonawalla in a Shahab Durazi for a feature in ‘Beautiful People’ magazine… What surprises me is why the sudden emergence of a collection that was done in 2002?

i like natasha’s jewellery. i’m envious of her for being both very thin and very rich. i don’t like the stripy dress. it’s so boring.

not jes horse breeding family, Lila Poonawala, is the first engineering women student (along wid sudha murthy) n besides tht she was the M.D of Tetra Pak & Alfa Laval & now runs a charity focussing on women upliftment.. besides that yohan runs a financial company apart frm horse breeding..
i was once invited my Lila Poonawala (our farmhouses are next to each other) & thats when i got to know all this..
altho the info is unnecessary ere, i wanted to mention it ..
first engineering women student of where or for what ? I know there are much more acclaimed women engineers who are older, lol !

I think both have worn it better…Ash wore it for a less glam occasion vs. Natasha who wore it for a mag shoot I suppose..of course one can’t expect Ash to be all donned up in jewels to a press meet? Natasha accessorized an otherwise deglam outfit and still makes it seem like a gown…which is commendable..but Ash is wearing a diff version of the top so I am not complaining…both look lovely and just rightly dressed for both occasions!

natasha and the model look amazing. very few people can carry off horizontal stripes. regarding the poonawalla clan, there are some different branches. natasha is married to adar whose father cyrus is the most famous poonawalla as he has a biotech company called serum. cyrus is married to a lady called villoo. lily must be related somehow.
Priyanka, I have to correct you on that one. Sudha Murthy was no way the first woman engineer of India and and nor is Lila Poonawala; but Murthy was the first women engineer to be recruited by Telco (check wiki).
The first woman engineer was most likely Ila Ghosh (Majumdar) who graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1951. Sudha Murthy was born in 1950. Also, there are lots of women engineers who graduated in the 60s from IIT Kharagpur.
So the info they gave you is wrong, but all other stuff about tetrapak etc are impressive

i asked around and it turns out that lila isn’t related to cyrus and natasha. but she is friends with them. lila seems so cool though.
oh…………this dress again it was also worn by laara dutta….2007 filmfare magazine(i still have the mag)..u can also fing this dress worn by tamara moss(model)on some fashion magazine where they advertise wills lifestyle brand……….thought u ought 2 knoww..
Natasha Poonawala/Aurora was in my batch in college (St Mira’s).. way back then she didnt have anyting called as style.. her patent ‘style’ that time used to be full sleeve loose salwar kameez with a big jhola almost reaching the knee.. its surprising to see her even wear sleeveless hehe for some reason she didnt “socialize” among the girls back then, she always kept to herself
