WLIFW: Varun Sardana

Varun Sardana’s collection was called, ‘A Quaint Little Town’ in which the play on textures and origami’esque draping of clothes was apparent. While there were the expected charcoal hues, they were picked up by bursts of pinks, teals and blues! And there was the Fall favorite, purple.

There was plenty of shimmer and shine and many pieces with harlequin prints, perhaps as on ode to the preppy quaint little town?

Day 4: Varun Sardana

Varun Sardana’s, ‘The Grammar of Seeing’ had a very futuristic vibe. The colors were mostly pale and muted barring a pink here, a bit of yellow there! Powdered pale blue and metallic beige/gold dominated the color pallette. The collection was creative and interesting though tended to not hold its pace here and there…but still does get a shoutout for sheer imaginative vision and design!
