Twice The Nice

We rarely see these two in a traditional avatar and we must say, it was a welcome change. Vogue Editor Priya Tanna looked lovely in the red Pratima Gaurav creation at the Vogue Beauty Awards as did Suchitra in what we suspect is a Nikasha Tawadey design. Love.

Finishing Touches

Two appearances, two floral outfits. And two terrible pairs of shoes.

Disregarding the outfits themselves, have got to ask… Why-oh-why won’t Ms. Pillai pay some much needed attention/tlc to her choice of footwear?

Ladies, shoes (accessories in general) can either be the proverbial cherry to top off that look or that last nail in the coffin! So… Choose wisely!

A Plaid Poll

Designer Gaurav Gupta may be trying to get plaid back in groove for Autumn (his recent collection had lots of it) but looks like these ladies are beating him to the punch. Question though is whether they do a good job of it?

Of the three, Ravee’s dress was the best but shoes were a massive FAIL. Dig any? Or none?

Seeing Red

We couldn’t find a full length picture of Raveena’s (which might be a good thing considering her track record with footwear in the past) but from what we see, we’ve got to say the color looks fabulous on her. The hair-do makes it a bit pageant’y and I can’t help but think of a younger, desi’fied Dolly Parton when looking at Ms. Tandon but Red just might be her color! Suchitra too wore the color rather well and we wouldn’t change a thing on her. :)
