Not Just One!
We spotted Kahkashan wearing another outfit from Prashant Verma’s Spring 2008 collection. Has the lady not heard the phrase: “Everything in moderation!”

Seems like the only one giving Kareena a run for her money is Ms. Kaif. Katrina is featured on the Verve February issue wearing a Tarun Tahiliani outfit from his Spring 2008 collection. Don’t see much photoshop on this cover happening? What say you?
You know that when it comes to trends, we want you to be on top of it and you already know all about the ombré effect, floral influences, and the metallic shimmer… Well, here are some more things that you might want to look out for, come Spring!
Its going to be all about chunky, heavy bangles, return of the ‘gladiators’ in all avatars, and ladies, sharpen that grip because ‘grab-bags’ are here!!

Vidya Malwade wore an ombré dress to the Arjun & Anjalee Kapoor Fashion Show and while she was right on the money where trends are concerned, her dress itself left a lot to be desired.
Ombré refers to fabric (and now, even leather! Remember Prada?) having a dyed, printed, or woven design in which the color is graduated from light to dark and is a big trend..its been around for a bit now and is going to be big for Spring. We saw many designers incorporate the look into their Spring 08 collections!
Vidya’s dress just doesn’t have that clear color gradation, and, instead of the play from dark to light, the color tone stays dark and only varies in the color itself! And that strip of navy/black at the waist does nothing for the dress; the shoes, too matchy!

Summer of last year saw Cameron Diaz totting the fabulous and oh-so-happy Marni balloon bag in yellow, and its popularity seems to be riding just as high even now! And most designers seem to have caught onto the shape… look at the Balenciaga and Gucci bags from their spring 08 collections…
While I like it, its a great casual, day-bag, the only thing I find inconvenient about this shape is that anything you put in the bag seems to collect at the bottom and it takes major rummaging to find something! But then again, maybe its just me!
