Ms. Reddy’s Spendthrift dress has a ‘Parental Advisory’ on the back except what we really think it should read is: ‘Advisory:The Front Is Much Worse Than The Back’. With the faux-way-too-many-chains and the faux-vest, this dress made us wish she was wearing a real vest to spare our eyes from the busy top half.

As much as we love Ms. Goswami, this dress (a ‘Spendthrift’ by Falguni and Shane Peacock) just isn’t working. While the silhouette seems all-wrong for Shahana, the make-up only adds to her woes.

The last time we saw Ayesha in a Spendthrift top, it was way too overwhelming but at her latest appearance in another Spendtrift top, Ayesha did much better by pulling her hair back, wearing a top that wasn’t too busy and sandals that weren’t fighting for eye-ball time. Almost feels like Ms. Takia read our post and took a few pointers. :P

Sure the Peacocks may be known for their prints, even OTT prints at times, but there is such a thing as ‘too much of a good thing’!

With smocked cuffs, a prominent brooch and an overwhelmingly busy print (with newsprint, skulls and floral details), there’s just too much going on! If that wasn’t enough, Ayesha paired her outfit with some rather fierce shoes which we ordinarily would have loved but here, instead of giving this look an ‘edge’ it just fights for eyeball time, making the whole ensemble even more exhausting on the eyes.

Perhaps minus the balloon sleeves the look would’ve worked but as is, it’s an unfortunate ‘Not Quite’ for Ayesha.

Its a tank that I like. Its edgy and something I would definitely wear. But, do I like how Shahana wears it? Not really. I wish Shahana had picked a white tank to layer instead of the blue one. You like?
