After the Balenciaga lookalike, Steve Madden has now come out with its version of the Dior Extreme cutout sandal seen on SJP in Sex And The City…

Gosh, the Balenciaga one was quite different when it came to the details, but this is almost a mirror image!

P.S. Would it be that bad if I bought the Steve Madden one and added all $$$ saved to my “Louboutin” fund!!! ;)

Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2007 ready to wear collection did these super chunky, gladiator’esque shoes, almost invoking the inner dominatrix in a woman! And now, I notice the same sort of shoes being worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the upcoming Sex And The City Movie! Do I smell a trend?

I love an unusual find, like this glamorous lamp. Its so quirky and fun! Eiffel tower never looked this good.

But the bag that Sarah Jessica Parker was carrying while shooting for Sex And The City movie took it a little too far! Its Eiffel’esque too, but in a sad, not-working-at-all sort of way!

Yesterday, while taking a break from studying, I happened to catch the latest ad for Sarah Jessica Parker’s new perfume “Covet”. I don’t understand how she agreed to do this ad. I don’t even know where to begin. Miss SJP wearing an over the top white dress and then proceeding to kick in the window, was a little too much. Somehow the idea of ninja style, kicking in the glass does not really inspire me to go get this perfume. Not to mention the bad “raccoon” eye make-up. And doesn’t she look a little bit looney at the end of the ad when she blurts “I had to have it”!

What demographic was she aiming for with the ad?? Somebody needs to fire their stylist and ad agency!
