In Anushree Reddy

Wearing an Anushree Reddy lehenga, Rakul attended a pre-release function of a movie in Chennai recently. While I love the finishing touches here, especially the roses in the updo, I just wasn’t a fan of the top.

I know bare shoulders are all the rage right now, but to me the top just looks awkward. Did you also feel that way?

While in Mumbai for Fashion Week, Rakul was photographed wearing Neeta Lulla (below, left) and Urvashi Joneja (below, right). Though neither outfit was quite my cup of tea (not a fan of the embellished detail at the arm/shoulder on the former or the sheer sleeves on the latter), Rakul sure wore both of ’em well.

TV Talk

While on the sets of a television show, Rakul was photographed sporting two rather different looks. For one episode, it was an AND by Anita Dongre tunic and palazzos for Ms. Singh. Braided hair, neutral thong sandals and jewelry from Zero Kaata completed the look. For another day of filming, she picked an Archana Rao suit. And this time around, Ghanasingh Be True jewelry and Steve Madden sandals were her accessories of choice.

In Land Of August

Wearing Land Of August, Rakul attended a press meet in Hyderabad. With her hair in a top knot, the actor finished out the look with Ghanasingh Be True jewelry and ankle-strap sandals. I wish she had skipped that jacket altogether and worn the crop-top and full skirt on their own for bit of a retro vibe. As is, this appearance left us underwhelmed.
