The first time we spotted this Rajat Tangri dress on Koena back in Feb, she completely cracked us up by that insistent posing with the clutch (Jimmy Choo) being prominently displayed. And now that we see Kangana in the same dress for her Alcatel mobiles shoot, we can’t help but wonder is it about this dress that makes you model everything in your hand? But hey, Kangana is at least getting paid for it! :P

All kidding aside, in which of it’s avatars do you like the dress better… cheery yellow or the candy pink?

Match And Contrast

Koena Mitra attended the Waves concert wearing a Rajat Tangri yellow dress with yellow pumps and contrasts with a pink Jimmy Choo clutch (and pink nails). On any other day I wouldn’t mind the yellow and pink contrast, but pairing the dress with yellow pumps and the pink nails was a wee bit much for me as was the showing off the clutch. It feels like she is a model showcasing a bag.

I absolutely loved Kangana in this green strapless dress that she paired with a stretch Bottega Veneta knot. Brownie points for going jewellery-less and letting that skirt be the visual interest.

Most of the time I am disappointed by Amrita because she never makes enough of an effort to add the finishing touches. She’ll either wear a good dress but neglect hair/makeup or wear great shoes with a bad dress or both. No such complains about Ms. Rao, who at the launch party of Maxim’s latest issue (featuring her) looked fab in a black Swapnil Shinde Rajat Tangri dress. Any other day, messy hair would have finished the look but not today.

P.S. She looks so good (in comparison to her many appearances before) that I am willing to ignore those slight creases on the dress.

P.P.S: A ‘Yay’ for Swapnil Shinde who has styled Amrita for the event.
