Sridevi walked the runway at the 2009 HDIL Couture week for Queenie Singh’s jewellery line, “Jewels By Queenie”, wearing a strapless Herve Leger gown, seen on the jewellery designer last year.

A case of similar tastes or a case of lending? We think it’s more of the latter. What do you think?

P.S. As much as we love Sri, the gown was really unflattering on her!

We love animal-print when done right. But, Queenie’s gown was anything but. The print was ghastly and that slit so not sexy and I don’t get why she had to add a belt to this outfit at all! The only thing I like about this look is the brown Bottega Veneta Stretch Knot. What an awful way to wear such a gorgeous clutch.

Wearing It Again. Part Deux

It wasn’t just the clothes designers doing an ‘Again’ at the Ceres store Launch. Wearing it again also were jewellery designers Maheep and Queenie. Maheep wore her purple Issa dress again while Queenie was spotted wearing her brocade Dolce and Gabbana dress without the Gucci belt.

Am guessing Maheep thought the deep plunge Issa dress, also seen on Farah, was a little too revealing because she modified it to where it wasn’t so revealing anymore. But, the modification actually makes the dress looks worse than better. Love the color though.

From Runway To Award Show To Runway Again

Mumbai Socialite and jewellery designer Queenie Singh got to wear the same Zac Posen dress previously worn by Freida at the Directors Guild Awards.

Uncanny isn’t it? Everytime we’ve seen this dress, it has been worn by someone of Indian origin and might we add that the copper/bronze tone of the dress looks great on everyone of them.

Queenie attended the Sabyasachi show in a blue sequin Bian by G Pia Fleming mini kaftan dress. Although, the camera flash doesn’t do justice to the dress, I can just imagine how great it must look in real. Just wished Queenie hadn’t piled on the blue eyeshadow. Brings back bad memories of a certain Ms. Surendranath! ;)
