Doesn’t it seem like Raima’s outfit worn at Manish Malhotra’s Grand Finale at the Lakme Fashion Week seems to have come from mixing the outfits of Preity and Kajol. Incidentally, they too had walked the ramp for him at LFW Winter 2006.
We spotted Aditi Govitrikar wearing a Manish Malhotra outfit to Roopa Vohra’s breast cancer awareness event. No clue as to why Aditi was so overdressed to the event, but we do know that the outfit is from Manish Malhotra’s Bridal Collection that he presented a few months ago..
Also spotted was Neha Dhupia wearing this ridiculously ugly outfit!

Manish Malhotra on Friday, showcased his Bridal collection at the Intercontinental, Mumbai, as part of the Thailand gems and jewellery association celebrating, Thai Night. What ‘Thai Night’ has anything to do with Bridal collection confounds me, but they sponsored and Manish delivered. And how. Beautiful clothes and beautiful people. It was a stunning collection.
The work, the detailing, the colors were all exquisite. I mean just look at Jesse Randhawa’s outfit below and tell me you don’t want to own that! Its so simple, classic and timeless and not once it comes off as being anything but couture.
Now, I often don’t like designers whose client list becomes bigger than their portfolios, and thats exactly what happens with most of these ‘bollywood’ designer types. But as much as I hate to admit it, Manish Malhotra has consistently delivered.
Loved so many pieces in this collection, except what he himself turned out in. Sigh. I guess we’ll just allow him that.
