It wasn’t a surprise to see Zayed Khan walk the runway for Manav Gangwani, but I was quite surprised to see Shruti Haasan only because I couldn’t recognize her at first glance. Even though the outfit makes her look like a displaced genie in search of her bottle, can’t ignore that fierce face! Not bad for a first time.

P.S. Shruti’s outfit is worth Rs. one crore! (Cuz the choli has diamonds in it.) Got spare change? :P

Tabu At 56th South Filmfare Awards: A First Look

It sure is a very plain and might we add very-run-of-the-mill kind of Manav Gangwani sari, but you can’t deny that Tabu wears it with ease and grace (even though that halter blouse is daringly low-cut). Now, imagine how much better she would be if she picked something better!

The latest to have jumped onto the blingy sari bandwagon seems to have been Lara Dutta who chose a pale shimmery Manav Gangwani sari to wear to the IIFA 09 Awards.

“If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” eh Lara? :p

To host the IIFA 09 Fashion Extravaganza, Sophie chose a pale pink sari and looked lovely in it! On the other hand, Raima went with an all white look in a Manav Gangwani on the Green Carpet for the main IIFA event whose look didn’t quite work, for us anyway! It looks like Raima is almost drowning in all that fabric/extended pallu!

While she disappointed a lot with her Match-Much blue outfit on day one, Raveena sure made up for it in this black Manav Ganwani gown at the green carpet of the Awards ceremony. We thought she looked lovely.
