In Raw Mango

Wearing a Raw Mango lehenga, Konkona first attended a film festival’s closing night festivities and then later, a diwali party. With gajra (flowers) in her hair, she rounded out the look with Amrapali jewelry and an embellished potli.

Konkona looked nice. I do wish she had worn a dark/matte burgundy lip color instead of the brown she usually favors… It really would’ve taken the look up a notch.

In Rahul Mishra Couture

Sayani attended the MAMI closing night festivities wearing a Rahul Mishra sari from his Couture collection with jewellery from Anomaly By Anam. While I loved the wine-hued lipstick, I really wish the bronzer wasn’t so heavy handed.

In Monisha Jaising

After a very traditional look this past week, Deepika complete changed it up wearing an emerald green shimmery pantsuit by Monisha Jaising to the MAMI closing night. A sleek hairdo, smoky eyes and Saint Laurent earrings finished out her look.

Me, I loved the suit on her at first glance. Having said that though, I wish she’d worn a light coral lipstick with the suit. The makeup just looked too heavy with the nude lip.

In Anamika Khanna Couture

Wearing an Anamika Khanna cream lehenga, Sonam attended the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival closing night on Wednesday evening. Between the full-sleeves and the cape, the outfit just felt so overwhelming event on her and the hairdo even with all those hairpins underwhelming.

More importantly though the outfit needed a bit of color, either by way of the clutch or the lips.

Overall, this one didn’t get my vote. Did you like?

In Chola

Wearing Chola, Manisha attended the Oxfam lunch on Monday afternoon wearing the checkered separates with boots. Chola’s design’s aren’t everyone’s cup of tea and these are sure to feel overwhelming to some, but I quite liked it. BY wearing her hair up, the separates don’t feel as stuffy as they might have.
