Wearing a checkered faux-wrap dress, Malaika attended an event in the city. And her color-blocked pumps added just the pop her dress needed. She wore it well. (Will add though, liked it more when she had her hair up in a casual loose knot.)

Whether it’s going the classic route with a white button-down and denims combo or, dressing up basic separates with bit of an edge by way of a studded leather jacket and knee-high boots, you’ve got to give props to Malaika for owning both of those looks.

Malaika attended a jewellery awards ceremony wearing a silver gown by Jean Louis Sabaji. Opting for this gown with its one-shoulder sleeve and neck detail was a risk that didn’t quite pay off. It just looked bad. I imagine the neck and sleeve cut off and liked it so much better.

For a recent round of travel, Malaika suited up in Zara. Layering on a dark grey jacket, she rounded out the look with a pair of black boots. Later, it was a Deme maxi for Malaika while out and about in Mumbai. Adding a leather jacket to the dress, she rounded out the look with a Gucci bag and pair of black booties. She made both looks work for her!
