Lara and Mahesh had a registered wedding on Wed but solemnized it in an intimate ceremony in Goa today. Here is your first look of the bride (in Elie Saab) and groom.

We wish the happy couple the very best.

P.S. It’s a good thing Ms. Dutta skipped on the necklace.

Spotted at separate events were Miu Miu matelasse bags. While Malaika sported a dressed down look with a hobo, Lara was more dressed up with a tote, a look that I loved!

Nuptial News

In a simple civil ceremony at their home, Lara and Mahesh made it official with Lara in a beige Ritu Kumar sari and Mahesh a khaki suit.

Don’t worry, more elaborate clothes are planned for the festivities that are happening in Goa, this weekend. From what we read, for the sangeet it’s going to be a Manav Gangwani and for the church wedding, an Elie Saab. (via Mid-day.)

IIFA Awards’ first major event, the charity fashion show just started and pictures of the stars are just trickling in.

Lara Dutta, attended the green carpet with rumored (guess confirmed now) bf Mahesh Bhupathi. She wore a 90’s Hervé Léger dress with Louboutin sandals and a Zanotti clutch that we’ve seen on her many times.

It isn’t the best pic but it’s enough for me to decide that I don’t like the sandals with the dress. They make her legs look ~~stalky~~ stocky with the way they cut off. Also, I wish she had worn the straps down to her shoulders as seen on the mannequin.
