Ushoshi Sengupta was the winner of the I Am She contest and gets to be India’s representative the the upcoming Ms. Universe contest in August. What surprised us though was seeing the same Versace gown on her that we just saw on the cover of Vogue India on Jacqueline. Lucky gal!

I love lehariya and I love color but these saris I just can’t seem to get on board with. Much too busy for me. Even the fabulous Ms. De seems overwhelmed in these prints.

One of these saris was bad enough, but to have worn two versions back-to-back was just a bad call. No?

We’ve mentioned before how much we dig the yellow-grey combo but this gown on Koena is bit of a let-down. The grey draped sash at the waist seems like such an after-thought.

P.S: We think the dress is either an Archana Kochchar or Rajat Tangri, will update once we have a positive ID.

Gowning Glory

Tonight was a big night for Sushmita. The final round and contest of “I Am She” was held tonight in Mumbai. You may know that Sushmita started it in close relation to her charity organization “I Am” and the winner of this pageant gets to go to the Miss Universe.

Sush just looked so tall and statuesque in her black gown with the white ruffle detail. Her eye-concealer was a little off but considering how amazing she looked, am going to ignore it. Can we just send her again the Miss Universe contest? ;)

In Falguni And Shane Peacock

Neha Dhupia hosted the ‘I Am She’ contest today in Mumbai wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock gown. At first, I thought we got bad pictures but quickly realized that it’s the eye make-up that make Neha’s face look like she is half-asleep.
