While promoting her upcoming movie on the sets of a television show, Sonam was photographed in a Hemang Agrawal sari. Wearing her hair up, she rounded out the look with a pair of flats and silver and gold-toned jewelry from Amrapali.

Mixed metallics might not be everyone’s cup of tea but Sonam sure did it well. Personally, I find the jewelry excessive but also know that a certain level of ott-ness is expected of Ms. Kapoor, it more or less is now her brand. I can’t imagine this working on most others without looking costume-y, and it does on Sonam too to a certain degree but, to her credit she made it work.

At the ongoing fashion week, Monica was photographed in a Hemang Agrawal houndstooth sari. Top knot and strong lip color rounded out the look. First things first, love the sari and love how she wears it. No two ways about it!

But, and there’s a ‘but’… Given the sari itself, I wish it was paired with a blouse that didn’t compete with it. And the lip color was much too harsh. Taking the metallic tones in to account, Monica would’ve been better served with a more glossier, dewy, softer lip color.

KALEEKAL revisited conventional gender roles and interpreted them into a fluid collection in textiles made from organic natural fibers. Innovative techniques of zero waste pattern cutting, ethical fabrics, recycling, yarn repurposing were employed for the realisation of the collection.

THREE experimented with the beauty of imperfections in our lives presenting a wear for the woman who instead of rejecting their flaws, celebrates them. A play of colours, predominantly red and white, and multiple playful stripes makes these garments comfortable every day wear.

Kallol Datta 1955 stuck to his commitment towards trend free style that has been his hallmark from the very nascent stage of his label. He explored the validity of trending hashtag of sustainability by reinstating his allegiance to slow fashion.
