In Twos

Pink was Juhi’s color of choice this festive season. Between the two, it was easy to pick her appearance in the pink and gold outfit as our favorite; she looked nice. The floral-print tunic just wasn’t our cup of tea.

Doing Desi

For the festivities at her home, Shraddha kept it real low-key in a printed suit. Barely there make-up, a messy plait and a pair of matching sandals rounded out the actor’s look.

Think the look makes for a nice change of pace? Or were you hankering for more?

In Seema Khan

While partaking in the festivities back in Mumbai, Sonakshi was photographed wearing a Seema Khan suit. Her choice of accessories included earrings from Maheep Kapoor and Arpita Mehta for Needledust jootis.

Though these aren’t the best images, like what you see?

Of Mothers And Daughters

Neetu, along with her family sans Ranbir, attended Ganpati Visarjan festivities today with her wearing a lime green churidaar suit. What caught my attention here was not her suit but the fact that daughter Riddhima was in a t-shirt and denims. :P

Brought back loads of memories of my own Mom insisting on going desi for a festival and the denim-addict teenager me putting my foot down. I won some of those battles but lost a lot more. ;)

Were you also that rebellious kid?

In SVA

Sophie visited a local Ganesh Utsav pandal on Friday wearing an orange SVA lehenga and earrings from Amrapali. While I like the printed skirt, the choli with that big dot design looked really awkward. And it was even more in your face because Ms. Choudry wore her dupatta on the arms. Just me feeling that way?

That isn’t to say Sophie didn’t look nice. She did.
