Freida helped promote Love, Sonia on Monday wearing an Elie Saab fringe dress and then attended the screening on Tuesday in a colorful ikat print Saaksha & Kinni top and matching skirt.

While the runway version of the latter was showcased with the bra top worn outside, Ms. Pinto decided to wear it inside. A move, you approve? Or do you find it distracting? I have to admit as much as I love the separates, I preferred the contrast being shown outside than inside. Wearing it inside was distracting to me.

If Rani stuck to Sabya, Freida seemed to be sticking to Elie Saab during the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Festivities. Awards night saw Ms. Pinto in a Fall 2018 creation which on the runway looked great with the boots but on her, just a bit awkward because of the length.

Freida was an Elie Saab girl at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne wearing a blue jumpsuit from the label for the opening press meet and a one-shouldered ruffle dress to the screening of her movie, Love Sonia.

In Bottega Veneta

At an event for a jewellery brand she endorses, Freida was seen wearing a striped Bottega Veneta dress with knot clutch also from the label but with black and gold Ferragamo sandals.

I liked the dress and the sandals, but I did find the clutch with its contrast piping a bit of a distraction from the overall look. A solid version of the same clutch might not have grabbed eyeballs as this one did.

P.S. That red lip looks killer on her.

In Hawaii for the Maui Film Festival, Freida was seen in two looks, first in a cheery Vionnet dress and then in a halter neck ruffled Johanna Ortiz gown.

At first glance, I felt like the makeup was a bit dull in the Ortiz look, but the more I look, the less I mind the lack of a lip color. Which of the two was your favorite?
