Kajol picked a Shantanu and Nikhil gown for her appearance at the Awards event. Wearing her hair in a side-ponytail, she finished out the look with a dark lip. Between the gown and the limp ponytail (which looked especially limp given the dress’ volume), this look wasn’t quite the ten we were hoping we’d get.

For Gauahar, it was a black Mayyur Girotra gown, one that she wore with jewellery from SLJ India, a red lip and a messy side braid.

The outfit may have felt simple but it worked. She looked elegant and we’ll take this over a loud outfit any day.

Patralekha went white at the Filmfare Awards wearing a Rami Al Ali strapless gown with earrings from Mahesh Notandas and a ruby ring from Farah Khan Fine Jewellery.

Smoky eyes and a twisted side braid finished out her look. Given the color of the gown, big ruby earrings would’ve made the look stand out more but that isn’t to say the simpler look didn’t work either. She looked great nevertheless.

At the Filmfare Awards, Ms. Qureshi took quite a risk by wearing a nude colored Nikhil Thampi cutout gown. Did we think it paid off? Not really. The cutouts didn’t quite fall correctly on her which made the gown look rather odd.

Thankfully her minimal styling helped downplay a look that would’ve looked pretty bad on some others.

Tabu went the glamorous route in her sparkly Vizyon dress and strong red lip. Side-swept hair, black sandals and a box clutch finished out the movie-star’s look. Yes, wish the sandals were different and while we are being wishful, also would’ve preferred the dress to not have that waist detail. But despite these minor beefs with the look, Tabu looked every bit the star she is.
