The How-Not-To Manual

Some fabrics should just be avoided (even more) like the plague when camera flashes are around.

The dress, the shoes… It just isn’t working.

In D&G

Also at the premiere was designer Surily Goel, who made an appearance in a D&G dress which she paired with a Bottega Veneta Karung Stretch Knot.

For us, this would have to be an Almost. The dress is so playful and fun, and the clutch much too serious. Wouldn’t Chanel (it’s chain straps worn long) have been a better option?

In Roberto Cavalli

You know our resident Munni loves her Cavallis and so, it sure was no surprise to see Malaika fall back on the Italian designer for her premiere.

She paired her printed dress with a Bottega knot and a pair of Maheep Kapoor earrings (so, so purrty). In theory, the clutch would’ve made for a great contrast with this dress but it seems to throw the whole look off. That and the shoes. For us anyway.

It’s Solid!

Both these ladies chose solid colored dresses and while Sophie accessorized her red number with a Bottega knot and some Louboutin pumps, Minissha paired her dress with some mary-janes and a Louis Vuitton bag.

As stark as the red-and-black combination was, Sophie did look nice. And minus the LV, so did Minissha. That big bag stuck out like a sore-thumb!
