So glad Shazahn didn’t make the same mistake as Soniya. Her Fall 2010 silver Dior was a great pick. Even though the dress comes with a lining, not sure why Shazahn felt the need to pin it up at the bust. Unless, of course, it was missing when delivered. :)

The Victorian-style necklace could’ve been given a miss, but we still like the look. You?

It’s the beginning of summer for some and some of you are right in the middle of it. Let’s forget the trends and go back to the basics, shall we?

Yep, am talking about the SWD: Summer White Dress. It is must have in every wardrobe. And the best part about the SWD is that you can create many looks with just this basic. Pair yours with gladiators (a la Katrina) for a uber casual look or wedges (a la Barbara) for a more glam one. Finish off with a denim jacket or a colorful cardigan to stay warm at nights. The possibilites are endless. With this one item in your wardrobe, we guarantee you, summer won’t be so “cruel”. :) (Yep, I’ve got Bananarama in my head right now.)

The puffiness and ruching might have gone shorter and less voluminous but the unsightliness only went from bad to worse. Bye-bye community school dance coach, hello bunny on a break.

Hrithik’s costar from the movie ‘Kites’, Barbara Mori wore a Roberto Cavalli strapless gown seen earlier in the year on Christina Applegate in a yellow version at the 2009 Golden Globes Awards. We loved this one on Christina way more than Barbara because not only did Christina have the better color on but she also didn’t make the mistake of wearing attention grabbing earrings with her statement necklace.
