In Arpan Vohra

In a one shoulder Arpan Vohra dress, Queenie attended a pre-Christmas lunch at Palladium Mall pairing the dress with a Miu Miu chain flap shoulder bag, earrings that seemed to match the chain of the bag and silver pumps.

Considering it was a lunch event, there was way too much bling in this look for us to really like it. The look would’ve been more in-tune for an evening/night event.

Sail Away was the theme of Arpan Vohra‘s resort collection and the nautical theme was evident throughout mainly with the rope embellishment that was featured in most pieces. The color palette was mostly white with a bit of blue and red thrown in. Instead of dressing Ria (his showstopper) in the white mini, the designer may have made more of an impact having her wear one of the more colorful numbers that were far more appealing.

Déjà Vu

The New Woman cover brings with it a sense of déjà vu and how could it not? Nachiket Barve ring a bell? (The Arpan Vohra dress on the cover reminds us of the signature Barve dress, seen first on the Spring 09 runway.)
