Like Kareena at the event, Taapsee picked an ivory half-and-half sari as well, but to a much different effect. Teaming her Lajjoo C sari with a long-sleeved striped blouse, the actor rounded out the look by wearing her hair back and adding a pair of gold jhumkis by Gehna. She looked good.

Such a beautiful, simple and elegant saree ! Love the striped blouse….it makes the entire ensemble more contemporary. Tapsee is carrying herself so well in it….as it’s elegantly draped…one thing I like about her is that she always looks so comfortable in her own skin.

Love the blouse and the overall appearance and Taapsee looks lovely, but not a fan of the saree itself. Would have liked to see a shimmery plain cotton silk or a chanderi go with that lovely blouse.

The saree reminds me of my grandma….it’s pretty nevertheless.
All she’s missing is a bindi and she would’ve been 8/10 in my books. In order to get 10/10 she should’ve worn an emerald and gold jewelry piece instead of all gold. :)
This is such a breath of fresh air especially coming right after Kareena’s saree appearance. Classy and composed, way to go Tapsee.

Like Kareena?? This woman looks classy as opposed to Kareena that makes even saree slutty. For heaven’s sake..don’t compare. I am stopping visiting this stupid biased some now. So annoying.
