Sridevi visited the sets of Nach Baliye on Tuesday to promote her upcoming movie, Mom. For the appearance, she picked one of Manish Malhotra‘s simpler fare, which was a cream fringe sari paired with a cobalt blue paisley weave blouse.
While I loved the sari and blouse on her, wearing that choker necklace made the top part feel a bit stuffy. Skipping the necklace and adding kundan bangles would’ve worked better. Agree?

Agree with what you said. Bangles to that choker for this look would have fared better. I like the blouse but don’t like the saree as much. Her face looks different now… Like a painted face of her on a canvas. Unusual though!
I prefer the choker. Bangles would be too festive for me… But thats just me.

It’s a pretty look. Bit irritating that it has a MM label when you can purchase the exact same saree at a regular store. I do like her choker. She’s wearing too much make up though.
Not a fan… of the underwhelming saree, the brocade blouse or the jewelry. And to top it the make up is quite garish! Its a rare miss for her in a sari.
Choker makes it look too crowded. Saree has a lush look to it.. beautiful. You can always count on the older guard to get the saree right
I prefer sridevi in her movies when she isnt looking so perfect and painted like a doll .

I think long multi strand pearl necklace would’ve been nicer since saree is so plain. Also, a longer sleeve on the blouse also would’ve made it stand out more. I like the purple bindi, she looks pretty.

That “chinna siru vayathil…” song. Oh.My. She looked divine in that blue/red combo. Its unfortunate that most of them know her days of yore only in Bollywood. Her acting/her looks of the 80’s in the South Movie industries was legendary. Sigappu rojakkal, varumaiyin niram sigappu, Vazhve mayam, Guru…and even those very simple pavada chattais in Moonram Pirai. Dang!

Hahahaha. That aside, I do not get Manish Malhotra’s design aesthetic. I for one would not be able to spot his clothes if asked to because everything looks like it was designed by someone different.
I don’t think the choker looks heavy for the look, because the saree is already simple the choker is filling it. She looks lovely.

She looks great. Except that, I feel the need to pull the saree cloth little bit up on her right boob! It’s almost on the edge between graceful and bit vulgar!
Sridevi is looking lovely ,but whats so designer about the saree and the blouse…u get these kind in Lajpat Nagar for few thousand..
