This is really nice but it almost outdoes the bride – never good.
How is this overshadowing the bride? Should one not even dress up in festive colors and clothes while attending a wedding?
IMO it overshadows what the bride is wearing at this event :) To each their own – to me it overshadows with the color and bling factor.
How she is supposed to know what bride is going to wear. It is colourful, non blingy outfit. I like her and Malaika best at this function

I came here to say that this event seemed like many a guest was dressed as if it were their own wedding.
YES YES YES .. each one of them is so self obsessed – all these so called celebrities – they all dress for themselves – at least show some dignity and respect to the bride – its HER day they got together to celebrate the BRIDE – Almost ALL of them traipsed in looking like it was their own wedding / whatever special day.

The bride will always stand out no matter what anyone else wears. I think people need to get over this mentality of ‘overshadowing’ at weddings. It’s an occasion to dress up.
I am not a fan of the Lehenga, but Sophie as always looks great, her styling is so spot on!
I love the bright and cheery colours.
She has an uncanny ability to make MM looks great on her. And her hair, make up and accessories are on point. The look is quite garish, but she makes it look charming.

Sophie looks lovely but I don’t find any originality in Manish Malhotra. Most of his designs look influenced by others, here its one of those South Indian restorations by Neeta Lulla. Designers who’ve had as much experience as Malhotra have a signature. You can always tell its a Sabyasachi or Rohit Bal or Ritu Kumar but not MM.
Lovely? Really? Frm head to toe, its super tacky. Hair-tacky, blouse with latkans-tacky, lehenga with chamko border-tackyyy!
Oh the skirt is so ‘meh’. It looks like those tacky satin petticoats. The backside of the blouse is ‘meh’ too.
