Sophie hosted the Femina Women Awards on Wednesday evening and for the event opted for a gown by, no-points-for-guessing, Manish Malhotra . Her peach gown made for quite a welcome change from the designer’s regular fare. It felt light-weight and elegant.
The only minor gripe we had here was the makeup. It felt a wee bit too heavy handed for the soft gown.

Its not strapless! Has a sheer neck, which makes this super weird
Ohh yes you are right. Cannot unsee that weird sheer neck.
All that extra satin/silk fabric trim on the bust and sides spells nothing but disaster.

Usually she looks great even in a MM. Though she looks good here, the make up is playing a spoiled sport. Not quite for someone who always looks perfect.
Very pretty gown
That caked on makeup isn’t a minor gripe, it unfortunately does look very bad & wouldn’t look good on anybody. Besides, the dress is so sloppy. From the droopy fall on the bust it looks like it is going to melt as a pool at her ankles.

It looks like an unstitched suit bought from Rajouri garden and draped around!! The makeup ~ icing on the cake~ pun intended!
