Wearing a Spring 2014 Prabal Gurung dress, Sonam attended the launch of a design store in Mumbai today finishing out the look with a Gucci transparent clutch and Louboutin pumps.

After having seen the runway version, the hemline feels like was modified to have more of a pencil skirt silhouette but not that it made a difference. She looked great in the lavender dress.

    • Ditto. It’s like they wanted to make her hips/waist look small by way of tightening it around there.Even in the frontal pose her right boob is alone seen which makes it even more tacky. Love the color of the dress & the clutch though.

  1. The modified hemline is way better, sonam really knows what looks good on her and thats the key in looking the best you can all the time, know what suits you

  2. Having seen the runway version, I miss the tonal belt (or whatever that is) seen on the model on Sonam… Barring that she looks great!!!

  3. Looks better on the model.
The boob show, tight around stomach, hemline little high (pnp u liked it inspite of the boob show ??? as generally u dont like it).

  4. Absolutely love the color on her. I find no issues with the hemline or boobage (as the others call it) – but I do think it is a little too snug around the waist…..

  5. Love the color. Just hate the fit around the waist. The modification job around the knees looks like my sewing project in school. Her boobs are not floppy nor do they hit her waist, I don’t see an issue with them.

  6. Too tight in the hip area but a minor issue, really. Forget about the dress, DEM SHOES! O.O
So glad for the shoe update Rhea! Good work!

  7. Oh dear Lord! It’s like this comment board is filled with prude central
    They’re breasts. Big deal
If there was even one more “boob show” comment I would have pulled my hair out
I’m proudly in the minority to say she looks fab

  8. I feel She looks good… The sleeves fit much better on her than the model… The hemline too works for her… And about the boobage, that’s the USP of this dress ;)

  9. I wish Sonam’s dress had had the belt the model has on! The dress is fab on the model but too tight around the hip/tummy for Sonam – why does everything have to look painted on? The “chest display” isn’t very flattering either. That said, I love color and the fresh, crisp band of white – well-fitted this would have been stunning.

  10. The boob show is quite distasteful but without it the dress may have been too conservative. I love the lavendar color and the hair.

  11. Geez!!! They’re breasts, people… get over them!!!! Frankly, I hadn’t even noticed them till all of you started going Hai Hai about the “boobage”. She looks good, apart from that too tight skirt, definitely not tacky or vulgar.

  12. If you guys want to follow HHC you will need to embrace the extremes of Fashion..I think she looks great and sexy for a change…feeling a Kangana Vibe here :/
p.s, who doesn’t get creases; we dont stand all day!

  13. For those complaining about the amount of cleavage…prudish much?
I think she looks great, unfortunately the fabric seems to be the kind that gets easily creased and there also seems to be some shapewear issues, judging by the first pick in the 2nd set.

  14. Love the colour and style but the fit is way off on the boobs and it looks like she has a tummy here because it’s just too tight in that area. If anyone else had worn this you guys would have said that!

  15. the lavender is lovely. boob show is tooo much, in fact the neckline looks abnormally low- looks like outfit was made for someone else.. takes away from the classiness of the rest of the outfit.

  16. It’s too much boobs for a store launch. Period. If she was attending a fashion show or an award show, it was fine but a store launch? Really? She looks good no doubt! I just find the cleavage atrocious for this occasion A lister or C lister. Ya ya they are breasts then why wear clothes at all? It’s just a human body duh!

  17. The boob comments are hilarious! I, for one, think the she looks great!!! It’s the right amount of flesh exposure to call it Risque! She owns the look! Way to go, Sonam, keep’em talking!

  18. just wondering if you caught Rekha’s photos from the same event? For a change she wore a light colored saree with zero bling and gold. Just a pair of jhumkis, red lips and a long loose plait. What a sight she was!

  19. On the model, the neck stands straight and sleek which makes it look classy
Whereas on Sonam, the neck opens out. Kind of like wearing a tight shirt where the buttons pop out, which makes it look tacky
