Sonam visited the sets of Dance India Dance to promote Dolly Ki Doli donning a formal look in a Kotwara lehenga with chaand bali earrings from Sunita Kapoor Signature line.
Given how voluminous the lehenga was, it was a good move keeping the hair sleek but I also do wish she had picked simpler earrings too.

She looks great but this outfit is too much for a movie promotional event. It would be more appropriate for a wedding IMHO.

Not sure if its the lights/photography – but her makeup looks perfect here. You can actually see her skin. I love the entire look!
Sonam looks soo petite. The lehanga and those earrings are too big for her.
Sonam is at least 5’8”, if not more. She is definitely NOT petite.

Why does she have to wear those bulky huge earrings? It seems like her face will fall off for not being able to bear the weight & vastness of the earrings! lol
Now that’s a gorgeous attire. Very delicately beautiful but then why team it up with such heavy earrings and end up taking the attention from her dress to her earrings-are-larger-than-face look?
I may draw flak from other members here, but whenever I see Sonam I often get this feeling from her dressing that “I give too much importance to myself”.

I think she looks amazing! I actually love the earrings with the outfit. She is at a promotional event for a movie where she is a bride a few times so this attire seems logical to me. Less is not always more – with Indian clothes, done the right way, sometimes more is better! She looks amazing in Indian attire and clearly enjoys wearing it.
Finally a Kotwara sighting…about time.
The movie is about weddings! So she is in character, so bloody what? She looks great! And I love that she finally has non-whitening make up. She looks lovely.
My favourite thing here is the bindi. Makes her look so lovely. Of course make up is good too.
