At the red carpet of the Stardust Awards, Sonam was seen in another Ulyana Sergeenko Couture, this one a striped dress featuring a contrasting winged bust. Wearing the midi dress with a Judith Leiber clutch and jewellery from Mahesh Notandass and Farah Khan Fine Jewellery, she finished out her look with a bold red lip and a wavy do.
After all those full-skirted appearances, the sexy dress made for a very refreshing change. We loved!

A-mazing look! I am loving it. That said, her under eye make up bothers me.
Agreed! I would not wear the dress but the dress stands out in the sea of traditional gowns. I also thought radhika & parineeti did well. Although nimrats gown was typical she looked smashing. Sonam looks amazing here! The dress is so unique, a bit costumy but Sonam pulls it off with elegance. She should pay close attention to her eye makeup

This is such a C grade gown. Does she deliberately pick such flimsy clothes to grab attention or is her stylist that dumb?
Though I’m not a fan of the dress (contrasting breast plates have yet to feel like a good idea on anything to me), she really pulls it off

It is a striking look. But that bra portion really bothers me. The black is too stark. If it was a matte navy may be (same color as the blue stripes in the gown)???

Love the clutch. This gown reminds me of those boudoir outfits seen in old western movies and I can’t get that out of my mind. That said…it’s different and Sonam always tries to be different.

This look is a disaster . Hate the material and the black plates desperately holding in the girls are tacky . I saw a side view on another site and it’s a bad fit exposing too much . She needs her clothes to fit her and give her chest a much needed break from being pulled up every red carpet event !

This is a franken dress – fugly. It has too many design elements. It is ill fitting, wrinkled and an awkward length.
Also the peplums should have been lined in black not white which cheapens the look even more.
The shoes look like work pumps with a boudoir dress.

The cross-legged posed is done to death and makes me wonder how tight that skirt is to walk normal strides in.
Plus, that bust plainly looks like a strapless bra that was worn on top of the dress.

This is a very interesting look, but somehow it feel more suited to an international appearance. She stands out here, and I love her clutch!
Looks like a curtain, similar to an outfit Sonali wore recently. This is a better fit, but a curtain riser too.

And like she imagines shd is not a fashion icon. She doesn’t have a signature style..keeps running from pole to pole..wearing random styles like a gone case.
As usual too many elements. Stripes+white lining+black bustier. If even one of the elements was removed it would look better.

She looks like a movie star alright. But the dress is bad. And the bust part like looks like spiderman eyes in his mask.
Don’t like the dress. A dress like this needs to be made and fitted flawlessly. Neck up her hair and make up don’t go with the budoir feel of the dress at all. It is very disjointed. The clutch does NOT belong to this look at all. Just by mismatching a few elements and accessories – does not make one fashion forward. I appreciate it that it is different and a stand out dress, but other than that not liking it too much.

Hasn’t she done this very questionable bra-over-something-normal look before?? I think it was a white shirt. She needs to rethink what’s risqué and what’s a health hazard and potential boo boo material. Big love for her but this is just plain flop.
